STORY
The women who made this stunning necklace live in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala in a small village. To arrive there you take a bus, then a boat, then a tuk tuk, and then walk quite a ways. The women were affected by the floods and mudslides in 2011. Many lost their homes. Everyone knew someone who died or was injured. The income from making your necklace enables them to rebuild their lives.
