It is made from organic plantain skins, organic cocoa pods and organic deforestation-free palm oil. It is said to work for any skin type and has antibacterial properties. It is known for treating acne, stretch marks, dark spots and eczema. It also is known to be a top-of-the-charts beauty bar with its exfoliation and brightening qualities.
The motto for this artisan group is: “When women stand together, whole communities prosper”. This is their debut product. It is a labor of love helping other women have food security, which provides safety from trafficking and helps send their children to school. All participants in the group have been certified in artisan soap and lotion production. They use local herbs and ingredients and everything is 100% organic.
