STORY
Due to the prevalence of human trafficking in the United States, Rising Worldwide and Survivor / Expert Catie Hart launched the Safe and Sound Human Trafficking Prevention Program in 2014. The program offers two key components:
1) Income – Survivors of trafficking and those most vulnerable to traffickers earn an income making the Safe and Sound bracelet. Each bracelet comes with a trafficking hotline wallet card, and is personally signed by the jewelry maker.
2) Prevention – Rising Worldwide implements a survivor-created, survivor-led human trafficking prevention workshop for youth, parents, and community groups. Learn more at risingworldwide.org/safe-and-sound
